Australia · HELICOPTER TOURS
The good helicopter tours go weeks out and the best go sooner. Below: the 15 to lock in early, what each includes and where they differ.
Cairns full-day Outer Great Barrier Reef cruise on Evolution, with 2 reef swims and an included 10-minute helicopter flight.
“Nothing can be improved everything is excellent and worth every penny”
20-minute Sydney Harbour helicopter flight with hotel transfers and live pilot commentary. See Opera House, Bridge, beaches, and more.
“Great experience to do with family or friends. The only thing that was a little confusing was the seating. We wanted to sit together and mentioned this beforehand, but once inside, we were seated opposite each other with two people we didn’t know. A small seating map or clearer guidance on how seats are allocated would be helpful so groups can choose to sit together.”
15 minutes in a helicopter from Yulara for sweeping aerial views of Uluru, plus hotel pickup and bubble-window photo angles.
“The helicopter tour over Uluru was unforgettable! Great service from start to finish – smooth pickup, friendly staff, and a fantastic pilot who shared great insights. The views were absolutely stunning. A must-do when visiting Ayers Rock.”

“Had a great experience. Very happy with the most wonderful people running the show.”
Great Barrier Reef by super-yacht plus a 10-minute helicopter flight from Cairns, with BBQ lunch, snorkeling, and optional scuba.
“A friendly, meticulous staff guide you through a perfectly paced day of relaxation and recreation out to and around the Great Barrier Reef. They have so many different options for comfort, ability and interest level that leaves no one behind and excluded from the fun. DEFINITELY do the helicopter option if possible — it’s a highlight of our entire trip to Australia.”
20-minute shared helicopter over Sydney Harbour, with CBD transfers, pilot commentary, and refreshments for Bridge and Opera House views.

Thank you!!!”

What a great time we had with wonderful commentary provided by our lovely pilot. She flew us up and down the coast and provided photo opportunities and directions which was a good ending for our tour of the North West. A brilliant lightning storm showed up at our original flight time slot. This tour is a must do.”
